5 Great Wreaths to try out this Thanksgiving/Autumn

5  Thanksgiving/Autumn Wreaths Not my picture, click picture to go to blog for tutorial This amazing wreath is from Consumer Crafts  and it drew my eye immediatly because we have pine cones all over the place. If you are going to use pine cones from nature and not the store remember they have sap and bugs. You can use this method HERE for the oven or HERE for bleach. Pine cones close up when absorbing water but drying them naturally or in the oven will have them open again. You can even paint them to your liking. This wreath will also be great to frost, add some red pops for Christmas and let your wreath do double duty! Thankful Tree It may look a little barren at the moment but come Thanksgiving this little centerpiece will be full of all the things the Tuckers are Thankful for. Every day each family member writes something they are thankful for on a leaf and we put it on the tree. Every day we can see our tree blossom and become more colorful. I think it is a great way for the children to understand a deeper connection with Thanksgiving other than food and football, which are not necessarily bad! I just wanted to find some activities that we could do as a family that they might remember and enjoy and pass it on to their family someday. Thankful Tree or Jar Hello Everyone! It is several days into November already! I just can't believe how quickly this year has flown by. Thanksgiving is a great time to reflect on the past 11 months and figure out what we are thankful for. I came across these two pins and I loved the idea for both the Thanksgiving Tree  and the Family Thankful Jar for Thanksgiving If you would like the step by step instructions please visit these wonderful blogs: Kiss My List   and Buggy and Buddy I will have my own version being posted soon.
