If you are going to use pine cones from nature and not the store remember they have sap and bugs. You can use this method HERE for the oven or HERE for bleach. Pine cones close up when absorbing water but drying them naturally or in the oven will have them open again. You can even paint them to your liking. This wreath will also be great to frost, add some red pops for Christmas and let your wreath do double duty!
